Designed for treating ferrous metals, reinforcing steel, pipes, steam pipelines, water pipes, and various metal structures, the Elcon P Rust Converter eliminates rust and prepares surfaces for painting. It is suitable for both primary painting (e.g., treating scale and welds) and on tightly adhering rust. A single application can transform rust layers up to 100 microns thick.

After application, the product chemically reacts with rust, creating a durable zinc-phosphate layer. This eliminates the need for additional priming, providing a reliable foundation for paints and varnishes.

Directions for Use

• Ensure the surface is free from dirt, paint, and other coatings.

• Wait until a white coating of converted rust appears (reaction time: up to 30 minutes).
• Allow the treated surface to dry completely, then rinse with water.
• Apply finishing paint or varnish materials within 2 days of treatment.
