Moka Express was born from the brilliant intuition of Alfonso Bialetti, the only original one since 1933. An excellent example of Art Deco, Moka has a design that has been perfected over the years to make this icon an increasingly ergonomic and elegantly shaped instrument while maintaining the same functional characteristics that made it perfect in its essentiality: the collector and the octagonal aluminium boiler and the exclusive inspectable and easy to clean valve.
The Moka Express stovetop espresso maker produces rich, authentic Italian coffee in just minutes. The aluminium pot features Bialetti’s distinctive 8-sided design for optimal performance.
HOW TO USE
Fill the basin with water and go up to the safety valve.
Place the funnel in the basin and add your espresso grounds, lightly patting them down.
Screw on the coffee collect up on top and place on the stovetop.
Turn on the stove to low/medium heat. The pressure gradually rises pushing the water up through the coffee grounds.
In a few minutes, you will hear a gurgling sound and freshly brewed espresso will fill the upper chamber.
Once done remove the pot from the heat and let it stand until the lower chamber only releases steam.
