Important Guidelines
Wash hands before using the milk pump to express or handle milk.
Warm the pump with a hot towel before expressing. Massage and stimulate the areola area to ensure clear milk flow.
Adjust pressure based on your comfort. Stop expressing if there is any pain or discomfort.
Express up to 80% of the milk in the milk ducts (for no more than 20 minutes).
Use a container with a lid when storing expressed milk.
Discard milk that has been refrigerated for more than 72 hours (3 days).
Do not mix refrigerated milk with freshly expressed milk.
Thaw refrigerated milk by placing the container in warm water or using a milk warmer.
If the thawed milk is not consumed within 24 hours, discard the remaining milk and disinfect the container. Do not refrigerate again.
