How to Select the Active Balancer for Your Battery Pack

• Consider the Battery Type: The DALY hardware active balancer supports LFP or Li-ion Battery Pack. The DALY smart active balancer supports LFP, Li-ion, or LTO Battery Pack.
• Number of Cells: Choose the balancer based on the number of cells in series (e.g., for a 4S battery pack, select the 4S balancer).
• Current Transfer Rate: The balance current determines energy transfer efficiency. For larger packs, select higher current options (e.g., 1A or 5A).
• Integration with BMS: For communication, monitoring voltages, and setting parameters, the Smart Active Balancer is available. Note: Hardware Active Balancers do not have communication capabilities.

• Active Balancing Technology: Uses active balancing (As opposed to passive balancing), which transfers energy from higher-voltage cells to lower-voltage cells, rather than dissipating excess energy as heat. This is not a smart active balancer and does NOT HAVE communication function(Does not have Bluetooth APP&PC software).
• Wide Voltage Range: Supports battery packs with voltages commonly used in LiFePO4 or Li-ion batteries (typically 3.0V to 4.2V per cell for Battery pack).
• Balancing Accuracy: With ±0.01V accuracy,High accuracy in balancing means that the cells will discharge and charge more evenly, reducing the likelihood of certain cells being overused or underused. This prolongs the overall lifespan of the battery pack.
• Low Power Consumption: Active balancers are designed to have minimal power consumption during operation, allowing them to operate for long periods without draining the battery.
• NOTE: Active balancers are designed to manage the number of cells in series in a battery pack. For example, for a 4S battery pack (four cells in series), the balancer must select the 4S.
