TRIPLE POWER Public Health Insecticide is the combination of Cypermethrin 8.4%, Tetramethrin 3%, and Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO) 6.3% is often formulated for use in public health, specifically for the control of mosquitoes and other disease-carrying vectors. Each component serves a specific purpose in enhancing the overall efficacy of the insecticide. Cypermethrin (8.4%): Role: Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. It acts by targeting the nervous system of insects upon contact, leading to paralysis and death. Application: Effective against a wide range of flying and crawling insects, including mosquitoes, flies, and cockroaches. Tetramethrin (3%): Role: Tetramethrin is another synthetic pyrethroid with a similar mode of action to Cypermethrin. It acts as a fast-acting insecticide, providing a quick knockdown effect.
