How to Use:

Step 1

Loosen the thumbscrew and slowly push the cable into the drain, shove as much in as you can before it stops.

Step 2

Once the cable stops moving forward when it through the P-trap, the U-shaped section of pipe under the sink, or at any other bend or obstacles in the pipe, tighten the thumbscrew.

Step 3

Turn the drum clockwise. A couple of turns should help the auger end get through the bends in the drain. This will force the cable to go further into your drain pipe causing a cleaning action.

Step 4

Loosen the thumbscrew and pull the snake back out of the drain. The cable may have a large hair clog stuck to its end when it comes out of the drain. It's also a good idea to wipe off the snake with a rag as you slide it into the drum.
